Domain Names at StudioPlus+

The Domain Manager is a key part of our web hosting Control Panel and includes all the features that you need to manage your domains. It sports an easy–to–navigate interface through which you can update DNS settings, modify WHOIS details, lock your domain or create sub–domain names with one simple click.

With the Domain Manager you can also purchase more services like Whois Privacy Protection and SSLs.

From our Domain Manager, you can easily administer a ton of domain names from one place. You’ll be granted access to a huge array of DNS controls and will be able to make changes to different domains at once.

On top of that, in the event that you also have a cloud hosting account with +StudioPlus, you will be able to control both your domain names and your sites from just one single place.

The WHOIS information associated with your domain name will become publicly available to everyone after the domain registration procedure itself. You can skip that by enabling an Whois Privacy Protection service for your domain name. With it, your own personal or business info, including your name, email address and physical address, will be substituted with fictitious info. To enable Whois Privacy Protection for your domain name, simply select the domain and click on the Whois Privacy Protection button to activate this feature.

This service is available with most of the generic and country–code domain name extensions that we’re offering. Examine the TLD information page on our site to find out which domains are Whois Privacy Protection–eligible.

We grant you absolute control over your domain names’ DNS settings. Via the Custom DNS section of the Domain Manager, you will be able to alter various types of DNS resource records for a selected domain. For instance, A, AAAA, MX, NS, SRV, CNAME and TXT resource records. To add a new record, just select a domain name and then enter the new value in the corresponding resource record field. To update the record – click ’Modify’; to return to the previous value – click ’Revert’.

Through the GeoIP location tool, also included in the Custom DNS section, you can present a specific language version of your site to people from a certain geographic region.

If you have an Internet shop, which accepts payments, it’s compulsory for you to offer your customers a secure payment info submission section. And this is exactly where SSL certificates come into play – they encrypt the connection between your web site and the client. Typically, you need to go to a third–party vendor to get an SSL. That is not the case with +StudioPlus.

At +StudioPlus, you can order a traditional SSL certificate or even a wildcard SSL certificate straight from your Control Panel.

Your domain’s WHOIS info contains your official contact details and it has to be kept relevant all the time. In case your e–mail address changes, or you want to transfer the ownership of your domain name to somebody else, you’ll need to update your current WHOIS info at once.

Via the point & click Domain Manager interface, you will be able to quickly alter the WHOIS info for one or multiple domain names at the same time! All the modifications that you make will be updated live instantly! Please do not forget that not all top–level domain name extensions support this functionality, so first see on our site if this feature is available for the domain that you aim to update.
